Refund Policy

We want your experience on steambuy.pro to be transparent and secure. This Refund Policy explains the rules governing order cancellations, refunds, and return eligibility for digital game keys purchased through our platform.

1. Cancelling an Order Before Payment

You may cancel an order at any time before payment is completed.

No fees, obligations, or charges apply until payment has been successfully processed, and you are free to discontinue the order without restriction prior to payment.

2. No Returns After Payment and Delivery of Digital Content

Once payment has been completed, digital products are prepared for immediate electronic delivery.

By completing a purchase, the User expressly consents to immediate delivery of the digital product and acknowledges that the statutory right of withdrawal is lost once delivery has commenced.

Once a digital key has been delivered and activated, and where the User has consented to immediate delivery, the order is not eligible for return or cancellation, except as required by law.

Nothing in this Refund Policy limits or excludes any statutory consumer rights available under applicable EU consumer protection laws, including rights relating to defective or non-conforming digital content.

Digital keys are unique digital products which, once delivered or activated, cannot be reused or resold. For this reason, returns or cancellations are generally not possible after delivery, subject always to mandatory consumer protection laws.

3. Refunds When We Are Unable to Deliver

If, for any reason, we are unable to deliver a purchased digital key, the User will be entitled to a full refund.

Refunds in such cases will be processed using the same payment method used for the original transaction, unless an alternative method is required by the payment service provider.

In exceptional cases, our support team may contact the User to arrange an alternative refund method.

4. Special Refunds by Agreement

In certain situations, and strictly at the discretion of Steambuy’s support team, a refund may be offered outside the standard terms of this Refund Policy.

Where such a discretionary or goodwill refund is approved, only the amount paid for the digital product itself will be refunded.

Any deduction of third-party processing fees applies only to discretionary or goodwill refunds and does not affect refunds required by law.

5. Refunds Issued by Third Parties

Refunds may be processed by authorized third-party payment service providers acting on behalf of Steambuy.

Use of third-party refund providers does not affect the User’s statutory rights or entitlement to a refund where required by law.

Refunds issued through such providers are considered equivalent to refunds issued directly by Steambuy.

Additional Consumer Protection Provisions

If a digital key is proven to be defective, invalid, or non-functional at the time of delivery, the User may be entitled to a refund or replacement in accordance with applicable consumer protection laws.

Approved refunds are processed within 14 business days using the original payment method, unless otherwise required by the payment service provider.

Governing Law

This Refund Policy is governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of EU, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection laws applicable in the User’s country of residence.
